What a great night. We are lucky to have such a great restaurant in our area. My loving partner and I, for Feb 14 were celebrating captain Cook's murder by the great people of Hawaii. We are thankful. But that's not the point of this review. We enjoyed excellent food with great service. We will be coming back again for sure.

My wife and I went for dinner on a Monday night. Friendly staff. Good was great. The San choy bow has a good whack of chilli. Prawn dumplings really good. We shared a main of the pork belly and the fried rice with duck. They do cocktails too.

After 7 months travelling in The UK , Europe and the Far East- What can I say - Sunday only Yum Cha at Duck in Heaven Thirroul - right on my doorsteps. Yum Cha is excellent and is as good as ones gets in good Yum Cha establishments in Sydney and the only Yum Cha South of Hurstville. Happy Days Incredibly good hand crafted yum cha by Jeni and her team- the yum cha was top class quality and had good varieties- one needs to try them to appreciate the taste sensation. Service was fast and furious as the joint was packed albeit abit noisy. However the ambiance is terrific. Lou the bartender was outstanding. We had a seat at the bar as we had no prior booking- so it’s advisable to book ahead.

Dined in on Feb 14th to celebrate Valentine’s Day and we were not disappointed. Staff were attentive and food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

We decided to try this relatively new restaurant (opened in May 2025) and very happy we did! Excellent, attentive service and the Crispy Pork Belly Larb (Thai Style) was remarkable! I love crispy pork belly and this was actually the best I've tasted... and I used to live in Newtown, the home of amazing Thai! They also have an interesting array of deserts with a twist... including Durian Icecream! The restaurant has a nice, moody atmos with smooth jazz adding to the great ambiance... certainly worth trying them out... but probably best to book a table, unless you don't mind sitting at the bar?

I had lunch here today with my husband and everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! The Best Peking duck I’ve ever had. The dumplings, homemade sauces and lobster spring rolls were all delicious. The service was on point and the place had a great atmosphere. We are very fussy people so when I say everything was perfect I mean EVERYTHING was perfect. We had some margaritas which were definitely made with love and the tequila was of the highest quality also. 10 out of 10 from us I highly recommend Duck in Heaven !

We saw Duck In Heaven on Instagram and decided to drive down to Thirroul from Sydney. Everything lived up to our expectations. If you love great food and of course, the best duck dishes then you’ve gotta eat here. The Duck San Choy Bao was outstanding, as was the Malay Red Duck Curry and the Peking Duck, oh and the Duck Spring Rolls, in fact everything was great.. oh and the Duck Fried Rice. Further to this, Jenny, the owner is the host with the most, really informative and lotsa fun. Next time we’re in Wollongong, we’ll be back

My husband and i had dinner here for the first time tonight, we had prawn and scallop fritters to start, for mains we had crispy pork belly lard with thai spices, salt and pepper flathead and cucumber salad, Duck in heaven is definitely a cut above the rest i don't know about Duck in heaven but i definitely was. The complimentary duck broth which is brought out once you've been seated is simple and gorgeous what a lovely touch, the salt and pepper flathead was so crispy and fresh, everything was cooked to perfection, the staff are all lovely and very helpful, i love that they know the menu so well and are able to answer any questions about the dishes, what a great dining experience, i will definitely go back and i highly recommend if you love good food try Duck in heaven.
